The Unlikeliest Hero

He Didn’t Look Like a Champion… But He Won the Greatest Fight in History.

The world expected a warrior, a king with power and might. Instead, Jesus came as a servant, stepping into the greatest battle of all time—against sin, death, and the forces of darkness. He fought not with fists, but with sacrifice. The enemy thought he had won. But then… Sunday came.

Day 5: Rising with Resolve in Obedience
After prayer, Jesus rose with resolve, ready to face betrayal and crucifixion. His example encourages us to rise in obedience, even when fear and struggle persist. By surrendering to God’s will, we find the strength to walk in His purpose for our lives. Rising in obedience means choosing to follow God’s call, despite the challenges we may face. It is a daily decision to trust in God’s strength and guidance, knowing that He equips us for every good work.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, ESV)

Reflection: What is one step of obedience you can take today to align your life with God’s purpose? How can you rely on God’s strength to overcome any fears or obstacles?
