The Unlikeliest Hero

He Didn’t Look Like a Champion… But He Won the Greatest Fight in History.

The world expected a warrior, a king with power and might. Instead, Jesus came as a servant, stepping into the greatest battle of all time—against sin, death, and the forces of darkness. He fought not with fists, but with sacrifice. The enemy thought he had won. But then… Sunday came.

Day 1: Victory Redefined

The resurrection of Jesus redefines what victory looks like. In 1 Corinthians 15, we’re reminded that Jesus didn’t just escape death—He conquered it. That changes everything. This wasn’t just a historical moment. It’s a promise that speaks into our present.

After Jesus was crucified, the disciples were crushed. Everything felt lost. But what looked like the end was only the beginning. God was still moving. And He still is. The resurrection is proof that no defeat is final when God is involved.

You may feel stuck or like something in your life is over, but Easter tells us that the worst thing is never the last thing. God is still writing the story.

Scripture:
“But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.” – Acts 2:24 (ESV)

Reflection:
Where in your life do you feel defeated or stuck? What would it look like to invite God’s resurrection power into that place today?
