The Unlikeliest Hero
He Didn’t Look Like a Champion… But He Won the Greatest Fight in History.
The world expected a warrior, a king with power and might. Instead, Jesus came as a servant, stepping into the greatest battle of all time—against sin, death, and the forces of darkness. He fought not with fists, but with sacrifice. The enemy thought he had won. But then… Sunday came.
Day 2: Trusting the Unseen Plan
Sometimes what disappoints us the most is what God uses to shape us the most. When the women went to the tomb, they were overwhelmed with grief. They weren’t expecting resurrection—they were expecting to say goodbye. But God was already working, even when they couldn’t see it.
That’s how He works in our lives, too. Disappointment can cloud our view, but it doesn’t stop God from moving. The resurrection reminds us that even when we feel like nothing is happening, God is preparing something new.
It’s hard to wait. It’s hard to trust. But God’s plans are never limited by our perspective.
Scripture:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:8–9 (ESV)
Reflection:
What’s one area of your life where you feel disappointed or uncertain? How can you begin to trust that God is working behind the scenes?
