The Unlikeliest Hero
He Didn’t Look Like a Champion… But He Won the Greatest Fight in History.
The world expected a warrior, a king with power and might. Instead, Jesus came as a servant, stepping into the greatest battle of all time—against sin, death, and the forces of darkness. He fought not with fists, but with sacrifice. The enemy thought he had won. But then… Sunday came.
Day 3: A Call to Surrender
Easter isn’t just something we celebrate. It’s something we respond to. Jesus gave everything—His life, His power, His love—for us. And now He invites us to respond by giving ourselves to Him.
Following Jesus isn’t about trying harder to be good. It’s about surrendering. It’s letting go of control, laying down our pride, and trusting Him with every part of our lives. That’s when resurrection power really begins to change us—from the inside out.
Jesus didn’t rise from the grave so we could live safe, comfortable lives. He rose so we could live free and full, completely His.
Scripture:
“And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” – 2 Corinthians 5:15 (ESV)
Reflection:
Is there an area of your life you’re still holding back from Jesus? What would it look like to surrender it and trust Him with it today?
