The Unlikeliest Hero
He Didn’t Look Like a Champion… But He Won the Greatest Fight in History.
The world expected a warrior, a king with power and might. Instead, Jesus came as a servant, stepping into the greatest battle of all time—against sin, death, and the forces of darkness. He fought not with fists, but with sacrifice. The enemy thought he had won. But then… Sunday came.
Day 4: Living in Hope and Freedom
Because of the resurrection, we’re not bound by guilt or fear anymore. We’ve been set free. Jesus didn’t just forgive your past—He gave you a new future.
We don’t have to live under the weight of what was. We get to live in the light of what is: forgiven, loved, and made new. The resurrection calls us to stop living like we’re still in chains and start living like we’re alive in Christ.
That doesn’t mean life is easy. But it does mean we never walk through it alone. And we never walk without hope.
Scripture:
“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” – Romans 8:15 (ESV)
Reflection:
What’s one step you can take today to live more freely in the hope Jesus offers? Is there a fear or weight you need to let go of?
