At The Crossings, we believe children are an important part of the life of the church. They are not something to be sent away, but someone to be welcomed in.

Crossings Kids is designed to help children feel seen, loved, and included in worship alongside their families while learning about God in age-appropriate and meaningful ways.

What to Expect on Sundays

During our worship gathering, children are invited to come forward for a short Mini Kids Message. This is a simple and engaging moment where kids hear a Bible truth, story, or object lesson created just for them.

After the kids’ message, we take time to pray over our children, asking God to guide them, protect them, and help them grow in faith. Children then return to sit with their parents or caregivers for the remainder of the service.

To help kids stay engaged during worship, we provide busy bags with quiet activities. These are meant to support families and help children participate in worship alongside their parents.

Why We Do It This Way

We value family-centered worship. We want children to see their parents worshiping, praying, and learning together. We believe faith is often caught as much as it is taught, and worshiping side by side helps create meaningful conversations at home throughout the week.
