What to Expect

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! (Psalm 133:1)

Welcome To The Crossings

At The Crossings, whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we’re here to help you find and follow Jesus in a way that’s real, practical, and life-changing.

What To Expect

What To Expect

Walking into a new church can feel overwhelming. We get it. That’s why we want to make your first visit simple, welcoming, and pressure-free.

  • Straight Answers: We teach through the Bible book by book, verse by verse, so you hear what Scripture actually says, not someone’s opinion of it.
  • Real Community: A congregation where people actually know your name, not just a friendly wave on your way out the door.
  • Come As You Are: Bring your doubts, your questions, or a messy past. No pretending required.
  • Family Together: No drop-off, no forms, no stranger care. Your kids stay right next to you, with a simple activity bag to keep them engaged.

Your Questions Answered

What should I wear?

Come as you are. We are a jeans-and-coffee kind of church. There is no dress code, and you will not feel out of place no matter what you have on.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday gathering typically runs about 75 minutes. We start at 11:00 AM and usually wrap up around 12:15 PM.

What happens when I walk in?

Someone will greet you at the door. You will find a seat, grab some coffee, and settle in before we start. No one will call you out or make you stand up.

What will the sermon be about?

Our teaching is expository, meaning we preach through books of the Bible verse-by-verse. Whatever book we are in, that is what you will hear about on Sunday.

Is there childcare?

Children are welcome to stay in the service with their families. Kids receive Bible activity bags each week to keep them engaged. Crossing Students meets Sunday evenings for middle and high schoolers.

Will I be pressured to give money?

No. We do pass a collection plate during our services, but as a guest you are never expected to put anything in it. Our members and regular attenders take care of the church's finances, so unless you feel compelled to give, there is no need to at all.
